Monthly Paws in Wales Scent League
Points will be awarded at each trial, rosettes and trophy for Champion and Reserve overall at the March trial.
Sunday 22nd November, 13th December. Dates for January, February and March will be announced as the Covid situation develops.
Entries limited to 8 dogs per Level and one person per dog to allow for social distancing. There will be three search areas this year.
Level One; three search areas, one clove hide in each area. 10am
Level Two; three search areas, two clove hides in each area. Level 2 12.00 noon
Level Three; three search areas, two gun oil hides in each area. 3pm
Dogs search for clove Levels 1 and 2, Napier gun oil Level 3. Dogs searching for other odours are welcome, but handlers must provide the odour in a sealed search container.
£15 per dog per Level, dogs may enter two levels per day.
Rosettes to 4th place and Clear Search rosettes for teams achieving 97%+
Due to Covid hygiene protocols please bring your own refreshments – hopefully the famous PiW chocolate biscuit tin can soon return!
