Hoopers is a great fun, low impact sport. Using a series of Hoops, barrels and tunnels you will learn to direct your dog from a distance, making it a good choice for those of us who prefer not to run! Because there is no jumping involved, it is an ideal introduction to distance control for those who wish to go on to train agility, or dogs whose jumping days are behind them. Hoopers is not about speed; the name of this game is communication with your dog to achieve perfect placement and direction as you negotiate the course.

The jumping lane is a great way to keep your dog toned through the winter months and is the perfect place to train a ‘wait’ followed by a fast recall, or to teach your dog to jump on ahead of you. Because of the jumping involved only fit dogs over the age of 18 months may jump. Younger dogs (over 6 months of age) and the less physically able are very welcome; they work with a lane of Hoops, so gaining all the training advantages without risking physical strain.

Hoopers 10.00-1.00  £30.00  Jumping Lane 2.00-4.00 £20.00.  Tea, coffee and biscuits available all day, please bring a packed lunch if you are attending both workshops
