Paws in Wales
This series of three workshops are for dogs who have not yet quite achieved ‘Perfect Paws Status,’ The teenagers, the rescues and re-homes. In fact, any dog who would benefit from more training of the basic skills needed to be an easier member of their family.
Among many exercises and games we will use Wag It! Obstacle Games and Shadow Skills along with simple platform work to make these classes fun and engaging. You will be given homework exercises to work on, and are encouraged to take videos of your dog’s training to share during the half time break.
We will cover:
- Door and car manners
- Loose lead walking
- Meeting and greeting manners
- Appropriate play
- Food manners
- Checking in
- Teaching your dog to settle beside you in a public place.
During the mid-morning break there will be time to discuss any issues or questions you have about any aspect of your dog’s training, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
