Paws in Wales
A relaxed four days of Scentwork and searching in a wide variety of environments in the beautiful surroundings of Paws in Wales with its views over Cardigan Bay, Snowdonia and the Cambrian Mountains.
The course is suitable for dogs with a passive indication (clove) or active (catnip mice). The dogs will work individually so they can relax and enjoy their searches so dogs who need their space are welcome. If your dog uses a different target odour that is no problem, but please bring the relevant equipment with you.
The content will be tailored to each dog’s experience so all are welcome, whether you are just starting your Scentwork journey or would like to build on your dog’s experience, introducing new target odours, increasingly challenging hides and decoys.
Each day will run from 10 – 4. The cost of the four days is £240, including teas, coffee and biscuits available all day; please bring a packed lunch. There will be a maximum of six dogs.
There are many dog friendly accommodations nearby, campsites by the beach, bed and breakfast, hotels and holiday cottages. Rather than try to list them may I suggest you search ‘Dog friendly (ie campsite) Ceredigion’
There are wonderful walks within easy reach, sandy beaches, the Coastal Path and miles of hill walking.
